| Home vs.
Seymour Utd A - Sat 3rd September
2005 A beautiful
day and a great way to start!
Straight from the kick-off
Bradley Stoke played very attacking football. The
connections between Craig Potter, Simon Huckle and Mustapha
Jabang saw Seymour having to pull back and cover deeply.
During the first half Mustapha managed to easily convert 3
breakaways into a outstanding first half hat-trick. Craig
also scored a penalty and a great strike from the top of the
box.
The second half began at a
confident slower pace. James Palmer and Colin Garraway held
a solid formation at the back which Seymour could not brake
down. Craig then added to his first half tally to give
him the second hat-trick of the game. Seymour's broken moral
lead to bickering and the game petered off into some silly
challenges and cards, but towards the end of a hot and
tiring game Seymour broke the clean sheet with a header.
Colin then answered that goal by hammering a well worked
short corner from 25 yards out into the roof of the net.
A sound and confident
performance from all, 3 points and top of the
division.
